Annual Faculty Art Exhibit in the DePaul University Library

The beautiful new Information Commons in the Richardson Library is not only a center for study and research, but also an accessible venue for the display of artwork by members of the Art, Media, and Design faculty at DePaul.  The works on view are varied in medium and subject, indicating the broad range of approaches practiced and taught, and together they allow the university community to understand visual arts as one of several ways to explore and document human experience.

Mary Ann Papanek-Miller, Professor and Chair, Department of Art, Media, and Design adds, "The participating permanent faculty of the Department of Art, Media, & Design are pleased to share their selected art works with the Richardson Library and the entire University community. The Richardson Library is a central and visible locus of DePaul University and it provides a unique platform from which to display our scholarly works, with the hope of provoking dialogue across disciplines among the diverse members of the University."
